Wakaba was born in Kenya in 1973. While living in a shelter in SA he persued his dream to become an artist. After a television program about his life and art he became an international artist. Soon exhibitions at the New York Art expo and many more followed. Wakaba Mutheki was an extremely versatile artist and worked in various mediums including oil and acrylic. His work can range from modern comtemporary to ultra realism.
