Ian was born in !951. In his own words “Long before high school I know that art has chosen me for a lifetime partnership. The foundations for my life as an artist were firmly grounded in  years of discipline as a professional illustrator.. In more recent times my paintings seem to merge between what I call impact impressionism and modern impressionism. Ultimately the underlying message is all about self discovery and personal fullfilment”
